Every Person Matters
As a Paddle UK Affiliated Club we promote Paddle UK’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, by encouraging everyone to participate in a variety of Paddlesport activities.
The Club recognises that “Every Person Matters”, as outlined in our Club Values, and we aim to focus on the individual’s needs and goals, so they can enjoy various Paddlesport activities. This includes supporting:-
- Young Paddlers through the BC Young Paddlers scheme
- Families who enjoying paddling together
- Paddlers of all ages, gender, sexuality and ethnicity
- Disabled paddlers through the BC Paddleability Scheme
As part of the Club’s Values we support the BC “We Paddle Together” Strategy which drives forward Equality, Diversity and Inclusion within paddlesport.
As a Club we encourage our members to participate in a variety of Paddlesport activities including:-
- Touring on local rivers
- Learning to paddle and developing personal performance in the following disciplines:-
- Kayaking
- Canoeing
- Stand Up Paddleboarding
- Sit on Top kayaks
- White water paddling
- Sea Kayaking
