Go Paddling & Assessment Days
Other activities are also arranged such as our annual “Go Padding” course, our “Come and try it sessions” or our “Training days“.
The Club is a “BC Personal Performance Awards Provider” which enables our Club Coaches to support our members to achieve the New BC Go Paddling Awards and the BC Personal Performance Awards.
We also participate in activities with other canoe clubs e.g. the “Carboard boat race” as well as taking part in other British Canoeing events, and Open Canoeing Association events.
All our Go Paddling events and our Assessments days are based at a local reservoir where we have access to separate Male and Female changing rooms, with separate toilet facilities. There is also a cafe at the reservoir where you can buy hot and cold drinks as well as snacks or even an ice cream!!.
